Events

The anniversary year opens with a Holy Hour and Mass on Jan. 12, the exact date of our founding 50 years ago, at St. Patrick Cathedral in Charlotte. Other celebrations include a diocese-wide pilgrimage to 100-plus sites, Catholic Family Day at Carowinds, a Charlotte Knights baseball game, 50 Acts of Charity and more! The 2022 Eucharistic Congress Aug. 5-6 will be another highlight as we strive to glorify God and strengthen our diocesan family – above all, affirming our faith is “more precious than gold.”
