Greensboro parishioners give generously to support local pro-life agencies

GREENSBORO — St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church recently participated in the “50 Acts of Charity,” a diocesan-wide initiative to manifest the love of God to others through charitable acts in celebration of the Diocese of Charlotte’s 50th anniversary.

St. Paul inspired their entire parish to participate in a unique act of charity: throwing a month-long baby shower to benefit the pro-life agencies Room at the Inn and The Pregnancy Network.

During the entire month of April, members of the Greensboro parish collected baby shower items most needed by these agencies and the families they serve: diapers, wipes, baby bottles, children’s books, diaper bags, strollers, baby clothing, bibs and more!

Everyone involved in the baby shower agreed it was a huge success, with multiple cartloads of items being donated to both agencies. Many thanks to the generosity of St. Paul the Apostle Parish and its people for providing these much-needed items to our local parents working with these agencies to ensure their children have the best start in life.
